Valentin Alvarez

Valentin grew up playing soccer.  After finding the field not big enough to run out his energy he converted to full time runner as an adult, quickly falling in love with the sport.  He is at a point in his life where he runs every day, and has for the last 2.5 years straight.  Besides being a running coach,  he is no stranger to triathlon earning podium spots on more than one occasion.

Valentin’s philosophy is simple:  “Less more often.”  You lose your fitness quicker than you gain it.  For example, instead of running 30 miles over three days, he would recommend spreading the 30 over five days.  Of course, he is always willing to modify as needed according to the athlete and their goals.

  • Allows for modifications to the plan based on work, family, training, and races

  • I work to respond within 24 hours with questions and concerns
  • Training and racing nutritional advice and suggestions offered
  • Heart rate testing conducted and zones established
  • Cost is $125 per month
  • One time set up fee of $100

PERFORMANCE PLAN:

  • This plan is for the athlete who is looking for a monthly training plan vs. weekly
  • Covers a 3-4 week time frame based on your races, work, needs, and life
  • No formal modifications to the training plan once established
  • Unlimited email communication provided
  • I will respond to you within 48 hours
  • I offer nutritional advice for training and racing
  • Heart rate testing conducted and zones established
  • Cost is $100 per month
  • One time set up fee of $100

ONE -ON-ONE TRAINING SESSIONS:

  • One of one, face to face plan consultation or training sessions
  • Training plan consultation or modifications for non-Peak coached athletes available
  • Run training sessions to provide feedback on form, technique, and discuss drills.
  • Cost is $75 per hour
